Red Cross scholarship opportunity:
Red Cross launches new high school program
We have exciting news: The American Red Cross recently launched the High School Leadership Program, designed to engage more students in our lifesaving community services. Through the program, students are not only touching lives, but they’re developing leadership skills and earning educational rewards along the way.
By donating blood or platelets, helping out at a blood drive and recruiting new donors, students can earn a Red Cross Red Cord to wear at graduation, the chance to win up to a $5,000 scholarship, and a college recommendation letter from a local Red Cross executive. More importantly, they could help save the lives of patients across the country or right there in your community.
Students can get started at any time by creating a profile at redcrossblood.org/leader. If you have any questions, feel free to contact your donor recruitment representative.
Thank you for your support!
